When Kam Brar and his wife, Michelle, started this business in 2011, their goal was to reinvent the mortgage experience. A home is the single largest asset for most Canadians, and the Brars believed that it should not only be a place to live, but also an important cornerstone to your financial dreams. Based on this belief, they have successfully established a team of enthusiastic and committed experts to practice the very definition of Auxilium: aid, help, assist and support.
As an independent, locally owned and operated mortgage brokerage, we are not accountable to a national or head office, but instead, accountable to you, the client. With access to over 50 lenders, ranging from Canada’s largest banks to smaller credit unions and trust companies, we’re able to save you time and money by shopping around for the best rate and product.
Together, our team has accumulated more than 100 years of mortgage experience and knowledge that we apply to each client. By working as a team, we are able to each bring our expertise to your file.
Each member of our team is actively involved in their community. As a business, we actively support over a dozen local organizations in Victoria and the Westshore. Why? Because we live and play here, too!

Chantelle started working for Shoreline Financial in January 2019. Not only was she starting a new job, she was changing career fields as well. Her experience comes from being a Pharmacy Assistant for 8 years after achieving a Diploma from the Pharmacy Technician Program. Chantelle having a background in pharmacy and having to adhere to the strict and high standards of the legislation & ethics governing that body of work has been an asset for her transition to the high standard of rules, regulations, and ethics of the financial planning field.
As the Client Care Manager, it is her priority to ensure customer satisfaction while adhering to the rules & regulations that protect both consumers and licensed professionals alike.
When not at work, Chantelle enjoys activities that feed her creative and artistic side, such as photography, crocheting, painting, and most recently sewing. She also adores a good hike with camera in hand, because capturing the wondrous and awe-inspiring side of nature is what interests her most.
Chantelle’s goal is to leave a positive impact on the people she encounters in life and relish every minute of it through difficult times as well as good times, whether that be at work or in her personal life.
Zhivana has two decades of office, insurance, and finance experience. She has been a licensed advisor in life insurance, accident and sickness insurance, segregated funds, mutual funds and RESP’s. As our Compliance Officer her level of understanding for this field enables her to ensure the legislative rules are followed, and client’s information is protected. Most recently she has completed the Life Licence Qualifying Program and is now a licensed assistant.
She discovered early on in her career that she prefers the administrative side of the industry and truly enjoys working with Tami, and the team. Tami is the first advisor she truly believes in working for and is proud to be a team member with Shoreline. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, music, singing, creating art, interior decorating and design, and gardening.
Tami has helped me assess my current financial picture by listening carefully to my needs and objectives. Her ability to identify strategies and opportunities to protect my family’s wealth were creative, insightful and sensible. I now have a true sense of protection and well being for myself and the ones I love. I fully endorse Tami and the services she and Innovative Financial Management offer. I would and do recommend Tami to anyone and everyone looking for a money management expert.Jason de FraineReal Estate Agent
